Finding ways to keep communicating with your local clientele both through hard copy and more often through your online activities key. You're right, selling online can be profitable in smaller markets too but smaller companies in smaller markets truly benefit from the power of personal relationships. Online communication really helps to keep that unique relationship moving forward.

If your a business owner in a smaller town but offer products that many people are interested in I think you can really take advantage of selling to people online. There is only so many customers when you live in a small town and the possibility for them to make a good living can be difficult.
